Family-friendly 5K run/walk that was created by the Colon Cancer Alliance. It’s participants are encouraged to run in their boxers to bring attention to the area affected by colon cancer. We have found that by getting people talking about this disease, we can save lives!
Come run a 5K in your underwear to fight colon cancer with Hemosure® at the Colon Cancer Alliance’s 2014 St. Louis Undy 5000 5K Run/Walk! The Undy 5000 is a 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run aimed at motivating people to get screened for the disease, which is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death in the United States. People don’t know about it because they don’t talk about it. The Undy 5000 promotes discussion by encouraging people to run in their underwear! This is a family-friendly event, and running in underwear is not mandatory.
The Undy 5000 5K is a run/walk to raise awareness about colon cancer. Participants in the Undy 5000 events are encouraged to draw attention to their bottoms—and colon cancer—byparticipating in their underwear.
Grab the kids and grab the dog, but leave your pants at home. Run in your underwear with Hemosure® at the Colon Cancer Alliance’s 2014 Sacramento Undy 5000 5K Run/Walk while raising awareness of colon cancer. Instead of race day T-shirts, all registered participants receive a commemorative pair of Undy 5000 boxers. It is a family-friendly event open to all ages. There is also a one-mile fun run. A giant, walk-through inflatable colon will make its appearance at the event!

Participants are encouraged to wear underwear themed costumes to draw attention to the part of the body affected by colon cancer. This is a fun event with a serious message– colon cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S, and we want to get people talking about it! Participants receive race boxers instead of a t-shirt and get to take a walk through a giant inflatable colon!
